Case Study 1: Board Induction Process

Goal

Our objective was to collaborate with the Managing Director and Chairperson to design an impactful induction process that fostered strong connections among new and returning board members and cemented relationships with the executive team.

What we did

We created a visionary induction process focused on cultivating a culture of mutual respect, trust, and clarity. Departing from traditional methods, our approach prioritised meaningful connection and collaboration. We facilitated camaraderie and mutual understanding among board members and the senior leadership team through interactive sessions.

Why it worked

Our program provided dedicated time and space for the essential "human elements" of governance to flourish. By actively involving the board and executive team in designing a governance culture grounded in trust and respect, we ensured authenticity and genuine engagement.

Goal

We collaborated with a CEO, Chairperson, and stakeholders from various government agencies, government-funded bodies, and community groups to develop a visionary co-design summit for 100 delegates+ nationwide.

What we did

We crafted a comprehensive framework for a three-day summit aimed at fostering collaboration, genuine debate, and space for delegates to co-create the future they envisioned. Embracing inclusivity, we prioritized intensive collaboration from a First Nations perspective to ground the event and ensure accessibility for all participants.

Why it worked

Our approach transcended traditional conference formats by offering a "business-not-as-usual" experience. Instead of typical keynotes and plenaries, we curated a three-day journey of collaborative sessions, fostering shared connections and dialogue around pressing future-oriented topics.

Results

The summit catalysed the development of crucial future strategies for key peak bodies and government agencies. It sparked significant dialogue at federal government and policy levels, laying the groundwork for impactful initiatives and policies.
